Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way for consumers to buy local, seasonal produce directly from a farmer. As a CSA member, you pre-pay for a season in exchange for a share of the farm’s best offerings throughout an entire season.

This will be Green Acre Community Gardens’ first season participating in a CSA. We will be offering ten memberships for the upcoming summer season. We are a volunteer-run non-profit organization that is committed to providing our community with access to fresh and nutritious produce. In return, we ask our members to commit to the policies outlined below.

How our CSA worKS 

Our Summer CSA membership will run for 6-weeks with pick-ups at the garden every other Saturday from June 11, 2022 -August 20, 2022

What’s included in your share 

What is in your share is dependent upon the season and what is ready for harvest in our garden. We can not make adjustments to what’s included. Each week you will receive a variety of 8-10lbs of freshly picked produce directly from our garden for only $25 per week! 

Picking up your share

When committing to our CSA, you will commit to picking up your share at our garden located at 12th Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson, every other Saturday between 11:00am - 2:00pm

Missed Pick-Ups

Please make your best effort to reach out if you are running late or cannot make a pick up. We will do our best to accommodate you. If the window is missed and we do not hear from you, the box will be donated. If you know you will be out of town please send a friend or family member to pick up your share. We cannot offer refunds or replacements for missed pick-ups.

The deadline for registration and payments for the summer season is June 1, 2022. The total price for our 6-week summer CSA share is $150 (that breaks down to $25/week). At this time we are only accepting credit card payments through PayPal. We cannot accept cash or checks at this time. 

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT 

Upon registration using the button below, you will receive an email with an invoice for $150 for the CSA share. Please submit your payment promptly. You will be given 5 days from the invoice date to submit payment. If payment is not received your registration will be canceled.

COVID19 Safety Protocol

When picking up your CSA share, we kindly ask that you wear a face mask and maintain a distance of 6-feet between other CSA members and staff. Only customers following safety procedures will be allowed to the pick-up table.
